About this Assignment:
Students developed brief PSA animations that visualize data as an essential part of their narrative. Each student chose an issue they cared about, researched relevant data sets, then graphed three or more data points for discussion in class. We then discussed the cumulative power of adding time to their information graphics as a means to sequence an argument from their data. They then developed these into storyboards and a written script, recorded their own audio tracks, and produced the final animated piece.
